My daughter is a freshman in college and she has decided to study video production. As a kid, she was always using my video camera to make silly, little movies with her friends so I wasn’t surprised when she announced that she would like to take that hobby to the next level. She has great concepts for films and she definitely has a director’s eye. The only thing she is worried about is her lack of editing skills. She doesn’t know how to use the editing software at the university and she feels like everyone is ahead of her. And she said that her teachers move very quickly through the material. When I asked her what she wanted for Christmas, she immediately said that she would like an training course in Final Cut Pro. I think it is silly to pay for something that she should be learning at school but that didn’t stop me from looking up “final cut pro training london” and booking her in a class!
